Assistant Manager, Material Operations (Supply Chain) | Tiffany & Co. | Jackson Heights, NY

The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of all day-to-day operations of the department, including the overall progress of all COM repairs in an effort to meet the established time frames. They are also responsible for overseeing the parts inventory and maintaining accuracy of the inventory through daily cycle counts, and inventory reports. The Assistant Manager also ensures that all schedules are properly updated to ensure adequate coverage; and generates and maintains accurate timesheets for payroll. In addition, the Assistant Manager provides management support and direction to all staff members, and assists with implementation and monitoring of new processes and projects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • College degree required
  • Strong numerical and analytical aptitude
  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, time management, and meeting deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 years of relevant experience in inventory/supply chain management preferred
  • Proficieny in Microsoft Excel, JD Edwards, and AS400
  • Graduate Gemologist degree a plus
