Logistics Brokerage Operations Supervisor | Quad Graphics | Bolingbrook, IL
Job Description
Quad/Graphics is currently seeking Logistics Brokerage Operations
Supervisor to work in the Bolingbrook, IL facility. The
Logistics Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day to day
operation of the Freight Operations Group, which includes Brokerage,
Intermodal and Dedicated Services. The Supervisor will work with
the Team Lead of each group to coordinate the cost effective movement of
all freight within the system. This position will work with all
departments within the organization to ensure service standards are met;
support and assist leadership and Human Resources in all phases of
talent acquisition as well as maintain employee relations and morale;
and continually evaluate, monitor and audit carrier
performance. This position will provide cost analysis and metrics
for the operations group by measuring service and cost in order to
identify improvements and provide recommendations for solutions.
Qualifications
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or Transportation; and 5-7 years related experience in logistics
environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
required. Previous management and analytical skills are
required.
